Hi Everyone! Here's one of my favorite House-Mouse stamp images....isn't it too cute? Well, I finally got to use my new sewing machine ~ okay, I know I need a lot of practice, it took me a while to learn how to get it up and running, that outta tell you how much I know about sewing, but I really want to learn, so I'm thinking about taking a class, we'll see how that goes. I had a difficult time trying to get the stitch straight, I suppose I can get away with it by just saying it adds character to my card...LOL! I'm going to have to practice that some more.
I used Basic Grey- Wassail 6"x6" paper pad and for my card base I used Stampin' Up! cardstock in Very Vanilla as well as Papertrey Ink cardstock in Pure Poppy, I stamped my image onto Buttercream paper by Taylored Expressions using Memento Ink in Tuxedo Black. Colored my image using Copic Sketch markers, then cut image using Spellbinders Nestabilities Large Labels and used Scalloped Rectangles for the layer, distressed the edges using Tim Holtz distress ink in Vintage Photo, added rhinestones onto the 4 corners of the scalloped square and applied Stampin' Up Dazzling Diamonds onto the furry part of their Santa hats. For the sentiment, I used a Christmas stamp set from Recollections that I purchased at Michaels.
I've entered this card into the House-Mouse challenge #84
Thank you for stopping by!

ReplyDeleteWhat a cute card, Sylvia! I like what it says in your card. We've always dreamed of a white Christmas. During this season, I make sure that everything is white. Like our bedroom, sofa's, the kitchen, our windows, the steel front doors -- everything is white! It's kinda weird, but white definitely looks good, especially on Christmas.
