For todays card, I am using an adorable stamp from Stampavie called Cheeky Boy from the Penny Johnson Collection. Isn't he too cute? I think so! I stamped my image onto Copic X-press it blending card paper using Memento Ink in Tuxedo Black, I then colored it with Copic markers. The pattern paper I used was from the DCWV "The Guy Stack", that I also used on my previous post. I stitched around the layers of my card using my Singer sewing machine.
I used the small deckled rectangles Spellbinders Nestabilities to cut out the stamped image, using a sponge dauber, I sponged around the image with Bashful Blue from Stampin' Up Classic Ink. I threaded each of the buttons, which then using Glossy accents, adhered them to the card.
Materials/Supplies used: Cardstock - Kraft & Dark Chocolate from Papertrey Ink, Pattern Paper - DCWV "The Guy Stack", Stamp - Stampavie "Cheeky Boy" Penny Johnson collection, Buttons - from my stash, Stamped sentiment - Hero Arts Sparkle Clear - Live it up, Copic Markers, 3D dimensionals by Ek Success, Glossy Accents by Ranger, Stampin' Up! Classic Ink - Bashful Blue, Sponge Dauber by Tsukineko, Spellbinder Nestabilities - Small Deckled Rectangles

ReplyDeleteSuper cute card, Sil. I also love the stitching. I need to figure how to use my sewing machine to do that. I don't have space for that's why I don't use as much. Love the image too. TFS... Hugs, Friday

See...here I am again!! lol Now if you hadn't read the video comment, this comment would make no sense to you! But I know you did, so I know it does! I think I need a nap so please excuse me! lol I'm just going to snoop at your gorgeous cards for a bit! I stamped out my images today and you are SO RIGHT about the Stampavie stamps. Definitely a different quality than I'm used to. I'm all ready to start coloring, I just need to be a little bit less tired. So I am looking forward to that tomorrow! Hope you're having a good day! :o)
